Established in 2000 and specializing in the field of health and wellness, JanaCurrie Wellness provides weight loss coaching, wellness coaching, yoga/Pilates instruction and personal fitness training to clients in the greater Cincinnati area. As part of the practice, JanaCurrie Wellness leads workshops on weight loss, nutrition and life balance for small groups, individuals and Fortune 100 companies.

Jana Currie, owner of JanaCurrie Wellness, began her career in the wellness field in 1990. She received her Master’s degree in Health Education and Health Promotion from the University of Cincinnati and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health and Fitness Specialist. Jana received her training as a coach through Guiding Mindful Change and holds nationally recognized certifications in Pilates and yoga instruction.

Core values are what set JanaCurrie Wellness apart from other wellness organizations. With her ability to retain clients for a remarkable 10 years or more, Jana is caring and compassionate; she is knowledgeable and flexible in her approach to healthfully addressing changes for the long-term and committed to helping clients achieve their wellness goals.

It’s hard to recall my mindset from 12 weeks ago when I started with Jana. I vaguely remember thinking, ‘This is not going to work….I won’t be able to do this.’ But to my delight, I was wrong! Eating better became enjoyable and easy, and I noticed that if I did eat something unhealthy, I wasn’t actually satisfied. Having Jana as my accountability partner was a key part of my success, and it feels great to be able to say, ‘I choose to eat this’, or ‘I choose not to eat that.’ Also, people telling me I look great doesn’t hurt either.
